A selection of some of my favourite videos I've worked on recently, from sending a LEGO roller coaster to space to building a jungle boat ride in the garden and setting up dominoes around the house.
My involvement spans the entire process, from early ideas and creative development through to shoot days and final delivery. I love getting stuck into the creative side of things, solving the problems that inevitably come up along the way, and getting involved in every aspect of the video making process. It's the kind of work that keeps you on your toes, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Over the years I've had the pleasure of working with a number of companies and brands to create eye catching, unique stop motion animation that makes their product or brand stand out. With around five years of stop motion experience across vastly different scales, from brand campaigns all the way to LEGO videos, it's a format and medium I genuinely love. I always get super excited when I get a stop motion project.
Recent highlights include working alongside Aardman and LEGO on a YouTube campaign, a detailed origami printer animation for Canon, food stop motion for Pret a Manger and Mondelez, and large scale set builds for Furniture Village, animating full size sofas and beds across a warehouse set. Every project has been different, which is exactly what keeps it interesting.
Across all of it I've been hands on, handling model making, set dressing, food styling, prop builds and shooting everything through DragonFrame. No two projects have looked the same.
